Kuala Terengganu SOCSO Rehabilitation Centre

The Kuala Terengganu SOCSO Rehabilitation Centre (PRPKT) started operating on the 28th June 2020 and is located at Permai Park Inn, Kuala Terengganu. It is the only satellite centre operating on the east coast of Malaysia and is equipped with a range of state-of-the-art robotic equipment to assist the client’s rehabilitation treatment process.

All our clients in Kuala Terengganu consist of SOCSO contributors and non-contributors (private payers). Each client undergoing rehabilitation treatment at the SOCSO Kuala Terengganu Rehabilitation Centre will be managed by a case manager who will plan tailor-made rehabilitation plan according to the client’s needs.

PRPKT offers an intensive treatment process focusing on Physiotherapy, Neuro-Robotics Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Disability Management. Physiotherapists will provide a comprehensive physiotherapy treatment method to help our clients achieve maximum level of mobility and self-reliance. The treatment methods applied include a combination of Manual Therapy and Robotic Treatment equipped with a variety of high-technology equipment.

At PRPKT, the Occupational Therapy Division will train clients to manage life and work skills to ensure clients become independent, productive and have a better quality of life.

To support the rehabilitation programme, the centre also provides in-house trained nurses whose role is to provide services such as Wound Care, Health Assessment (Blood Pressure, Glucose Readings, BMI & ECG) and Health Education.
