1.Who is eligible for treatment at the SOCSO Rehabilitation Centre?

Category A (SOCSO Contributors)

SOCSO Contributors who submit claims under the following Acts:

  • Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 – Employment Injury Benefit Scheme and Invalidity Scheme.
  • Self-Employment Social Security Act 2017 – Employment Injury Scheme
  • Employment Insurance System Act 2017
  • Housewives' Social Security Act (Act 838) - Domestic Accident & Invalidity Protection Benefits

Category B (Non-SOCSO Contributor)

Individuals (Malaysian Citizens / Non-Malaysian Citizens) who are not PERKESO contributors.

If you are interested in undergoing treatment, we recommend that you contact our nearest Centre directly. Below are the contact list of SOCSO Rehabilitation Centres and their respective landlines:

  • Fit-Port Centre Tanjung Pelepas Harbour, Johor (+607 585 2666)
  • No fee is charged for SOCSO Contributors (Category A).
  • If you are not a SOCSO Contributor (Category B), fee that will be charged according to the prescribed treatment plan.

The main criteria for seeking treatment with us is to be stable in terms of health and to be diagnosed with a medical condition that requires medical and vocational rehabilitation treatment.

There are many different types of injuries that involve workplace injuries and other non-work-related illnesses. Among them are Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) and many more.

The duration of treatment depends on the needs and severity of injury of each client. Treatment period will be monitored based on the Rehab Action Plan that will be prepared together with the client.

Clients will be supported by the Return-To-Work (RTW) Programme which helps clients find suitable employment through their job placement process.
